Cardiff-Wales LGBT Mardi Gras
Saturday 31st August 10.30am (parade); 12 noon (main event)
Mardi Gras has a new home this year – at the Millennium Stadium. This annual event celebrating diversity (and putting on a great show) starts from 12 noon at the stadium. Tickets are £10 on the door (go to Gate 6).
There’s a parade again this year too. It starts from Churchill Way at 10.30am and the route is available here.

Cardiff Film and Comic Con
Motorpoint Arena, Saturday and Sunday 9am – 6pm
Sci-Fi and Fantasy stars will be signing autographs, giving talks and there will be plenty of stalls. Appearances include David Hasselhoff, Alice Krige, Brian Blessed, Several Hobbits and stars of everything from Harry Potter to Scrubs.
Tickets are £5 and you can get them on the door.
